Practical strategies for supportive parenting and caregiving.
Summit Strategies offers short-term, focused consultation, education, and training services for families and caregivers seeking support for specific, day-to-day concerns—not requiring a full ABA treatment model. Summit Strategies:
Personalized Behavioral Consultation Services
Summit Strategies is our short-term, private-pay consultation services that help parents and caregivers handle everyday behavioral challenges—like routines, transitions, or mealtime struggles—without needing to commit to formal therapy.
We’ll work with you to understand your goals, your home life, and what’s most important to your family. Together, we’ll explore practical, evidence-based strategies that are easy to understand and put into action right away. These sessions are designed to build your confidence and give you tools that fit your real-world needs.
While our services are rooted in behavioral science, they’re educational—not therapy. We don’t provide clinical treatment, diagnoses, or behavior plans. But if you ever need more specialized support, we’ll help connect you with trusted providers who can offer that level of care.
Service Flow & Structure
Tailored & Context-Aware
Our process begins with collaborative exploration—ensuring we understand your context and that our educational support services are a good fit before any commitment is made:
-
Initial Discovery Call (complimentary)
A remote meeting to discuss your concerns and determine whether an on-site evaluation is appropriate for your situation.
-
On-Site Contextual Visit (complimentary)
A non-committal, no-cost visit to observe the setting, identify behavioral dynamics, and assess whether focused, caregiver-education services are likely to be effective.
-
Educational Planning Meeting
If both parties agree to proceed, this session (remote or in-person) provides foundational training tailored to your needs and prepares you for implementation.
-
In-Home/On-Site Coaching & Strategy Delivery
Real-time modeling, caregiver coaching, and troubleshooting within the natural setting to support successful application.
-
Ongoing Weekly Support & Progress Monitoring
30-minute check-ins (remote or in-person) to monitor progress, adjust strategies, and promote sustainable caregiver-led success.
-
Support Fading & Program Closure
Gradual removal of scaffolding and closure of services with optional summary and next-step guidance.
Summit Strategies plans are structured, but flexible, designed to be responsive to individual differences in family routines, implementer availability, and environmental variables. While many challenges can be addressed quickly, others may require extended support or clinical-level care.
Privacy-First Approach
We understand that many families and individuals value discretion when seeking support for behavioral or developmental concerns. Our Summit Strategies services are designed with privacy at the forefront—ensuring your experience is respectful, confidential, and unobtrusive.
We take several steps to protect your privacy:
-
Unmarked Presence: Our team does not wear branded uniforms, use company-marked vehicles, or display professional materials that identify our services in your home or community setting. This ensures your privacy is maintained at all times.
-
Confidential Engagement: We do not discuss, disclose, or confirm any details of the services we provide to third parties, including neighbors, educators, or other professionals, without your explicit written consent.
-
Respectful Interactions: If approached or questioned during on-site visits, we will never identify ourselves as behavior professionals or specify the purpose of our visit. All interactions remain casual, respectful, and intentionally neutral in appearance.
-
Private Pay Model: These services are provided entirely on a private-pay basis. No information is shared with insurance companies or third parties, ensuring that your participation and any goals or outcomes remain solely between you and our team.
-
Confidential Documentation: All communication, notes, and program details are securely stored and accessible only to authorized professionals directly involved in your support.
These practices allow us to provide responsive and individualized services while honoring your right to privacy and comfort. If you have additional preferences or concerns regarding discretion, we are happy to discuss accommodations to meet your needs.
Payment & Service Agreement
Summit Strategies services are offered on a private pay basis. These supports are designed as short-term, skill-based solutions for common parenting or behavioral challenges—not as a substitute for formal ABA therapy.
We begin with a complimentary consultation and an on-site visit to determine whether your needs align with the level of support we provide. This initial process helps ensure the right fit, and there is no cost or obligation for either party to continue services beyond this point.
If we agree that Summit Strategies is appropriate for your goals, we’ll discuss the scope of services, format (in-person or virtual), and duration. Fees are determined based on the level of support and individualized need. While we aim to keep these services affordable and accessible, each situation is unique. We do not post flat-rate pricing, and formal agreements and payment arrangements are made only once the service plan is confirmed.
Boundaries of Service
Summit Strategies services are designed to provide general behavioral education and caregiver-focused consultation. These services are not intended to diagnose or treat specific developmental or behavioral disorders, nor do they constitute formal Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Summit Strategies does not provide clinical analysis or individualized treatment recommendations.
While we tailor our guidance to the behavioral goals, family context, and day-to-day challenges of each caregiver, we do not develop individualized treatment plans or formal behavior intervention plans. Summit Strategies services are consultative and educational in nature, drawing from evidence-based behavioral principles to empower caregivers with practical strategies.
If your needs require a medically necessary or intensive therapeutic approach, we will help guide you toward appropriate ABA or clinical services.
Coming Soon
On-Call Guidance
We are currently exploring our ability to deliver phone, text, and/or chat support for families or supporters participating in our structured services. We anticipate this to be a light-touch, on-call support feature—offering access to brief expert guidance when real-time issues or questions arise.
This would be:
-
Limited in scope (e.g., short phone/text-based questions)
-
Available during designated support windows
-
Not intended to replace weekly sessions or emergency services
Our goal is to help you feel supported without overwhelming either party—and to ensure that guidance remains effective, ethical, and sustainable. Details to come as we shape this option.
