Hello, I'm Kristin
Welcome to Summit Behavioral Support

Thanks for stopping by. I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals and families achieve meaningful progress through evidence-based practices and thoughtful, personalized support. As a co-founder of Summit Behavioral Support, I’m proud to serve communities across Nevada with services that meet people where they are—both literally and in life.

My work is centered in a deep understanding of behavior, with advanced training and research experience in functional behavior analysis that goes beyond standard clinical application. Whether I’m developing individualized support plans or working alongside families and educators, I approach every situation with clarity, empathy, and a commitment to uncovering what truly works for each person.

My Story

Born in Reno and raised in South Lake Tahoe, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the mountain communities of Northern Nevada and California. I began my academic journey at UC Davis, where I first discovered a passion for understanding human behavior and graduating with a degree in Psycho-Biology. From there, I continued my graduate studies in Sacramento and later at Utah State University, where I had the chance to specialize in advanced applications of behavior analysis, including functional behavior analysis and training methodologies, feeding interventions, self-control and impulsivity research, and systems-level support.

Throughout my training, I developed a strong interest in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), working not only with individuals but also with schools and organizations to build environments where success can be nurtured at every level. These experiences helped me see behavior not just as something to address—but as something to understand, support, and strengthen through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Today, through Summit Behavioral Support, I’m honored to bring that vision home—to work alongside families, educators, and providers across our region to deliver meaningful, personalized services that make a difference.
